Show BIG KEW BREAKS 1 THE COi MARKET CHICAGO, July li. Fresh successes of the entente aOies led to big new breaks today in the corn market. Prices closed unsettled, 2&,3c net lower, with August Au-gust JX.521.52 and September J1.53 1.53 hi - Oats finished c to 11.c down and provisions otf a shade to 5 cents. Bearish sentimont regarding corn became be-came so pronounced that the August delivery de-livery was forced down more than 10 cents under the hifrh point of the previous pre-vious day and nearly 14 cents below the i top figures of Tuesday. In addition to the war nems, the favorable weather was against the bulls, and so too were liberal receipts. Besides reports were current that the food administration had ordered interior public elevators cleared as far as practicable so as to make room for the new wheat crop. Throughout the day buying support was limited except from snorts, whose profit-taking induced numerous num-erous but generally transient rallies. Adverse crop reports from the Canadian northwest made tho oats market show stubborn resistance to selling pressure. : The continued weakness of corn, however, together with talk of devoting elevator facilities more largely to wheat caused much unloading of oats after midday. Provisions finally eased off a little with i grain despite higher quotations on hogs and notwithstanding1 liberal shipments, i RANGE OP THE LEADING FUTURES. j Open. High. Low. Close.
