Show EX-CONVICT RECEIVES HIS LAST SENTENCE John Robinson Made His First Misstep by Stealing Watermelon When 6 Years Old. CHICAGO, Feb. 6.-Old John Robinson has received his last sentence. It was pronounced by Judge Sabath today. "I want to go home and die," said old John. "Send me to Joliet, where they know how to treat a man! Make it life, judge. It's the only home I know." As old John is 74 years old. Judge Sabath figured that an indeterminate sentence sen-tence of from one to twenty years would answer all requirements of a life sentence. sen-tence.
