Show PROPOSES TO DEVELOP ELECTRICAL CURRENT t Provo Man Applies for Permission to Use Water of North Fork Creek , - in Utah County. Electrical energy for use in Utah and 'asatch counties is to be developed by Scott P. Stewart of Provo, if George Mc-Oonagle, Mc-Oonagle, state engineer, grants an application ap-plication which Mr. .Stewart filed with him yesterday for the use of ten cubic second feet of water from the north and south branches of North Fork creek in Utah county. Mr. Stewart purposes to divert the water wa-ter by building a .strong1 concrete dam and a twenty-one-inch iron or . wood-stave wood-stave pipe to convey it a sufficient distance dis-tance to procure a head of 1400 feet, where it will be turned into a Pelt on water wheel five and one-half feet in thameier. H. H. Redd of Biuff. San Juan county, applied for the use of ten second feet of water from East Canyon creek in that county to Irrigate 760 acres of land. The water is to be diverted bv a ditch i'70 feet ' long. V For irrigating 360 acres of land in tooe!e county three cubic second feet of i" from Faust Conyon creek is applied l0:KfcJ. W.
