Show KENNING TO TALK ON LIFE IN THE TRENCHES Military Dance Will Also Be Feature of Britannic Meeting Monday. The speakers at the public meeting of the Britannic association in Unity hall next Monday evening will include Lieutenant Lieu-tenant J. F. Mather, and Sergeant -Major D. G. Kenning of the British and Canadian Cana-dian mission, who will talk on "Life in the Trenches," and the Rev. Peter A. Simpkin. Former Governor Arthur L-Thomas L-Thomas will preside. Other features will be a military dance, in costume, by the Misses Florence Crook and Jean Kller-man, Kller-man, and a readimr by P. .1, Holden. who will give Scott's "Johnny English, on the Art of Drilling." The musical numbers will be furnished by Professor Alvin A. Beesley. Mrs. Bessie Browning, Miss Edna Dwyer, Dr. W. R. Voriey. and John P. Robinson, baritone. Five-year-old Dorothy Chettle will sing "Don't Bite the Hand That's Feeding You." There will be no charsre for admission and everybody ev-erybody is invited to the meeting. At a directors' meeting of the association associ-ation held last night. Arthur L. Thomas was elected honorary vice president of the organization. The treasurer, Charles J. Heilbut, on account of the pressure of other duties, tendered his re-si smation, and John James was elected to 'nil the vacancy. |
