Show PERSHING REPORTS , INJURY IN ACTION Private Carl Johnson of San Francisco Wounded in Engagement but No Details Are Made Public. WASHINGTON, Jan. 30. General Pershing reported today that Private Carl Johnson, infantry, was severely wounded in action on January 27. No details of the action were given. Johnson's mother, Mrs. Augusta Johnson, lives at S90 Fourteenth Four-teenth street. San Francisco. The following deaths from pneumonia were reported: George D. McSorely, 912 Twenty-second avenue. Council Bluffs, Iowa. Paul Rich, Salem. Ore. Otto H. Petrick, Washtena, Wash. All were privates. The following other death was reported: Frank H. Hubbard (corporal), scarlet fever. 1200 Wooolawn avenue, Seattle, Wash. ; Private Phillip F. Henipivick, infantry, i was reported slightly wounded on Janu-I Janu-I ary 22.
