Hal Lamb was low man to qualify for the Country club championship yesterday afternoon, turning In a score of 75 for the eighteen holes. The next lowest fifteen fif-teen members will participate in the championship flight, and the golfers who failed to qualify will play in a second flight, eleven golfers being In this addition. addi-tion. George Carney, who has recently been appointed instructor at the Ogden Golf and Country club, and M. L. Dickey, local lo-cal professional, are trying to make arrangements ar-rangements for an intermountain open tourney. If such an event is finally arranged ar-ranged it will probably be played on the Salt Lake links. Captain Paul Keyser made his first appearance ap-pearance at the Country club yesterday afternoon since taking up military duties.
