Show INFLUENZA NOW WJINE5J OGDEN Situation Thursday" Gives Encouragement to Local Health Officers. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Nov. 28. The influenza situation situ-ation in Ogden today showed more im- provement than has been noted at any time during the past five weeks, according accord-ing to the reports received by the health office and from the observations of members mem-bers of the merchants' committee who are working with the local health board. It was stated tonight that the people and j merchants of the city are living un to every letter of the regulations as -outlined by the merchants' committee commit-tee and the health board. That this Is so was indicated by the day's report, which showed forty-five new cases of the Influenza and no deaths up to 5 o'clock this afternoon. One of the special police inspectors for the health board announced tonight that the people are doing everything in their power to aid In stamping out the epidemic. The street car employees only allow passengers enough on their carH to fill the seats; the company has provided extra cars for during the rush hours in the morning, at noon and evening. The merchants, drug stores and cafes have adopted regulations for handling crowds In their places of business. It Is stated that sta-lct compliance of the quarantine laws are being followed out.
