Show JSSUE ORDERS FDR IW HIGHWAYS Ninety-eight Miles of Hard-surface Hard-surface Road to Be Constructed. (-.'ontcmpialing early release of men from military 'service and the war industries, indus-tries, the state road commission yesterday yester-day issued orders which include construction construc-tion of nearly ninety-eiht miles of hard-surfaced hard-surfaced highway in Utah next summer. The commission authorized State Road Engineer Ira R. Browning to order Immediate Im-mediate surveys on eleven separate projects, so that bids can be called for and contracts let early next spring for completion of the work during the summer. Following: are the sections of hard-surfaced highway for which the surveys are to he made at once: Twelve miles in 1 iavis county to complete com-plete the V-Hved road between Salt Jjake and CX'den. V FJeven and four-tenths miles from VAlirivale Junction to the L'tah county line. S Eight find two -tent lis miles from the r l'tah county line to American Fork. Nine miles from Pleasant Grove to Prnvo. Eighteen miles from Provo to Payson. Five miles from Magna east to the west end of the present pavement on Thirty-third South street.
