Show BOBEAU IS TO HOLD ITSIfflLIETIi Housewives to Gather at the Same Time; Farmers Will Elect Officers. Special to The Tribune. OGDF.X, Dee. 12. The annual meeting of the Weber County Farm bureau for the purpose of election officers and discussing dis-cussing 191S plans will be held in this city next Wednesday, according to notices no-tices seut out to the directors today by W. P. f Thomas, county agricultural agent. There will be two sessions of the annual meeting, the first 10 a. m. and another at 2 p. m., and the officers and ! directors of the organization have been requested to set' apart the entire day for this meeting. Murray K. Jacobs, secretary of the bureau, and Mr. Thomas will submit their annual reports, this to be followed bv a general discussion of the year's work. Many adjustments are needed, according to the notice of the meeting, to meet new conditions for next year s work and for this reason i.t is urgent that projects and policies be decided upon at the earliest possible time. In connection with the farm bureau meeting housewives representing every district in the county will meet under direction of Miss Kdna Ladwig, home demonstrator, for the purpose of reviewing review-ing the vear's work in this department. It is also probable that a permanent organization or-ganization of the housewives will be formed to work in eo-operation with the farm bureau. Arrangements have been made for the representatives of both departments to lunch at a downtown' cafe, thereby losing no portion of the day to the business at hand. |
