Show FORT DOUGLAS MN . GUESTS AT ARMORY Vaudeville Numbers and Athletic Oon- tests Given by War Community Service Committee. Athletic contests, .music and vaudeville numbers made a pleasing programme for the -hoys of Fort Douglas at the Pierpont street armory last night, when entertainers entertain-ers from the Orpheum, the Liberty and the Pantages theaters and amateur athletes ath-letes gave exhibitions. The entertainment entertain-ment was one of a series being given undfr the auspices of the war community service, under the direction of the -Playgrounds and Recreation association. .Julian IvI. Bamberger, representing the commit lee, was master of ceremonies. Among tile athletic events were: Boxing, four rounds Irving Ranier C company, against J. DeYVitt, 1 company, draw; S. J. Aroush, O. Q. Patten. Roy Dlnney, Ralph Hartley, Ed Nelson and James Clever. The contests included boxing and wrestling. Mr. Bamberger, speaking for (ho committee, com-mittee, sta ted that Hie co-opera tion of the actors of the Pantagcs, Orpheum and Liberty was greatly appreciated.
