Show PLAN EXTENSION OF WIRELESS ZONES Company Formed to Commercially Link the United States, Mexico and Central Cen-tral and South America. N'RW YORK. Dec. 25. Commercial wireless communication between the United States, Mexico and Central and South America was brought nearer to-, to-, day with the announcement here of the organization of the Pan-American Wireless Wire-less Telegraph & Telephone company. The announcement, which was made by the Marconi Wireless Telegraph company of America, stated thaL work on a chain of high-power stations will be begun immediately im-mediately after the first of the year. The new concern is incorporated in i Delaware and is headed by K-lward T. ! Xaily, first vice president and genera! ! manager of the Western Union Telegraph i I company. The announcement says 1 1 ! has acquired the right to use all patents and concessions of the American and ; Kn.cli.-ij Marconi companies, as well as the Poulsn-Pedersrn sytem. The Mar- com company owns a majority of the i stock of the Pan-American concern. I '"The United States government has '. set its seal of approval on the new en- terprise." the company's statement reads, ! "recognizing that the establishment of ; closer t rade relations has suffered i through the lack of cheaper, more direct ' and extensive communication.
