Salmon, one of the carlv-day contractors of Denver, died at his home, 4166 Knox oiirt. this morning at the age of (51. lie had 'been a resident of Denver since lSO, and, in partnership with his brother, broth-er, built most of the tall business blocks constructed in this city during the '80s. Eor fifteen years he" had been an invalid in-valid and inactive in a business way. Knur children and the wife survive. A daughter. Mrs. Paul J. Snyder, resides in Siebert, Colo; a son, John .1. Salmon, in alt Lake, and two sous, Ben J. and Joseph A., in Denver. A brother, John J. Salmon, lives in California. .lohn J. Salmon of this city, who is connected with Lon Claflin 's bicycle store, is a son of the Denver contractor, lie received a telegram yesterday advising advis-ing him of his father's death and left last night, for the Colorado capital to attend the funeral. |
