Show ENTIRE FAMILY HAS THRILLING ESCAPE Automobile Crashes Through Bridge Railing and Into Canal; Mother and Child Nearly Drowned. Special to The Tribune. TWIN" FALLS, Idaho, April 20. A oonipanv of nine people, including Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Rife and family, liviup Dear Twin Falls, had a narrow escape from drowning whon their automobile plunged into a canal with them near Buhl. Thev were goine at a hieh rate of speed as they struck The nridgp onn were unable to" make the turn. Their car crashed throuph tbo bridge railing rail-ing and turning completely over wa? almost entirelv submerged in the canal. Henrv Sorensen, who was riding with them, was thrown clear of the car and at once carried five of the children from the water. He then rescued Mr. Rife, who was imprisoned in the car with only his head above water. Another An-other motoring party pacing at the time assisted iu moving the machine and rescuing res-cuing Mrs. Rife and one child, who were pinned under the machine and were un con scion'. Thev were taken to a near-by house and revived. The children chil-dren range in age from 12 years to 9 months.
