Show COURSE OF eon APPflGM IDAHO State Convention Elects Eight Delegates to Attend Chicago Meeting. Special to Tho Tribune. TWIN FALLS, Idaho, April 20. Senator Sen-ator W. E. BOTah, Idaho's senior senator, sen-ator, and seveD Borah enthusiaBts wore unanimously elected delegates to the Ke-publican Ke-publican national convention at the state convention, which closed here tonight. to-night. The sessions were marked by entire harmony and optimism among the several hundred delegates from all parts ot the state, among them being practically prac-tically all of the Republican gubernatorial guberna-torial candidates. The convention was opened by .former .for-mer Governor Frank H. Gooding, presiding pre-siding for State Chairman Evan Evans, who was ill. Fred S. Randall of .ez Perco was chosen temporary chairman, but in his opening adoress was stncK-en stncK-en with sudden illness and his place was taken bv Colonel Thomas R. Hamer. The convention, in the resolution; passed, called attention of the people of the state to the deplorable conditions in Mexico and the fact that never he-fore he-fore has the national prestige fallen so low; that the rights of America as a neutral nation have been outraged contrary con-trary to all international law and practically prac-tically nothing done by the present TJemo'cratic administration; that American Amer-ican rights to the open door in China, established by Secretary John Hay, are being abridged by Japan without protest pro-test from the present administration. The resolutions closed with this tribute to Senator Borah: We send greetings to our senior senator, whose wisdom has ever sought for this nation that course which will command honor and respect re-spect among the nations of the earth, whose firmness never relaxed re-laxed in support of the broad principles prin-ciples of government which Washington, Wash-ington, Hamilton and Lincoln inaugurated in-augurated and sustained among the governments of civilized peoples, and whose foresight, amid the dark clouds of international conflict, has ever seen clearlv the way to independence inde-pendence and self-respect. To William Wil-liam E. Borah, senator and statesman, states-man, we extend with the firm grip of loyaltv the friendship of a grateful grate-ful people. Tho delegates elected were: Judge Ailshie and E. R.x Whitla of Coeur d'Alene. Stanley Eastern of Wallace: W. E. Borah of 'Boise. E. II. Dewey ot Nampa. Fred W. Gooding of Shoshone. Senator J. H.
