In an effort to obtain advance information from Secoud district judicial candidates for judge and district attorney regarding the prohibition pro-hibition question, the -.Vlorgan Comity Betterment league has adopted resolutions resolu-tions n nd mailed letter? ot inquiry to all prospective candidates. Those possible pos-sible candidates on the Lepnblican ticket tick-et residing in this city received the letter let-ter of inquiry aud copy of the resolutions resolu-tions today. ! Among 'other things, the resolutions set forth that 1'tah should have been among the very first states to declare for prohibition; that soiiie of the slate and county officials have proven themselves them-selves disloyal to the cause of prohibition, prohibi-tion, and that Morgan county will stand solidly on its prohibition plank. Members Mem-bers of the organization pledge them selves to vote for only those who Havor prohibition and will bppuse any candidate, candi-date, county, district or state, who; will not publicly declare himself in favor of prohibition.
