S0 far as the police have been able to ascertain, the man is a laborer who had been unable to find work and be-, be-, i-aine despondent. Ho far as known, he has no friends in this city. As reported report-ed to the police, the man had been in the saloon only a few minutes when he attempted to take his life. He turned from the bar, after drinking a glass of beer, and fired the bullet into his breast before persons standing near by could grab his arm. Sergeant J. F. Kelliher and Deputy Sheriffs J. L. Tt. wns ascertained from his personal effects that he has a wife and two children living at Deweyville, Okla. Other than one or two letters, his personal possessions posses-sions included a pair of eye-glasses, $l.Io and the revolver. |
