Shasta daisies and multi-colored nasturtiums nas-turtiums were used in the decorations of the dining room and living- rooms. Mies Hazel Morse and Mrs. Sylvain Noack assisted as-sisted the hostesses. A wedding breakfast followed. The bride, who was unattended, wore a rose-colored silk suifand carried a shower show-er bouquet of Cecil Brunner roses. The wedding breakfast was served on the wide veranda of the home. The tables were artistically decorated with rustic baskets of Shasta daisies, ferns and trailing vines. Sisters of the bride, Mrs. Lawrence Snow, Mrs. "William Thurman and Mrs. Ernest Voegler, assisted in serving. The couple will remain at Springdale for the present and will leave September 1 for Boston, where they will spend the winter. Mr. Callister will attend Harvard university, receiving his degree of doctor of medicine in June. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Charles Miller gave a dancing party last evening at their home, in compliment to Miss Beatrice Burgoyne of Cincinnati, who Is their house guest. Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Rudulph of Selma. Ala., relatives of Mrs. B. F. Caffey, are visiting at the Caffey home, 1037 First avenue. , Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Daynes, Jr. , gave a lawn party last evening at their home, 1M2 South Fifth East street. In compliment to Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Jenkins. The marriage of Miss Louise Jennigs and Paul E. Phllo will take place today at noon at the home of the bride's parents, par-ents, Mr. -and Mrs. Isaac Jennings. Miss Marion Jennings will be bridesmaid and Richard Hartley will be best man. The Rev. Crosby of Los Angeles, An-geles, who is a visitor here. Mrs. Ixuio S. Gates and small daughter, daugh-ter, Barbara, have returned from an eastern trip, which included New York, Boston and other large eastern cities. They -will be the Hotel Utah for the remainder re-mainder of the summer. Mr. Cates will remain at Ray, Ariz. Mrs. Prank B. Piatt and her sister, Mrs Hyrutn Bergstrom, entertained a tew friends at a Kensington yesterday afternoon after-noon at the Don gall home on North State street. Mrs. Will Browne will entertain at a tea today from 4 to 6 o'clock. Mrs. Lewis A. Merrill and daughter, Edna, left yesterday for Minneapolis, where they will spend a few weeks with Fred W. Merrill and family. Mrs. E. A. Frewin will leave today for the northwest. Mr. and Mrs. J. Elmer Loveless and Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Bartlett spent the ipast week at the Utah Lake resort near American Fork. Mrs. Frank Ahl and daughter, Miss Isabelle Huddart, have returned from a month's visit to the east. Mrs. R. H. Douglas and daughter, Carrie, Car-rie, are spending the summer at Bear Lake. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Hoppaugh and daughters, Katherlne and Madeline, have left for a trip to Yellowstone park. Mrs. William Neslen and daughter, Kthel, are visiting friends In San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. They will be gone about two weeks. Sylvain Noack will leave Sunday for Bar Harbor. Me. Mrs. Noack will remain re-main two weeks longer with the Hartley family, 2S D street, before joining Mr. Noack. Mrs. William Story and children, Mac, Marlon, Florence and Eleanor, have gone to Idaho for a couple of weeks. E. F. Mills left yesterday for the east. He will attend the convention of the general gen-eral agents' association of the Northwestern North-western Life Insurance company, which will be held in Milwaukee July 17. IS and 19, and from there lie will go to Marinn. Ia.. to join Mrs. Mills, who has been visiting vis-iting relatives in the east for some time. Mrs. Mills will accompany him home.
