Show VERNAL ., 1 VERNAL, July 15. In commemoration commemora-tion of the seventieth anniversary of the calling of the Mormon battalion a primary festival will be held in the city park Friday, July 21. A detailed illustration of the Pioneer trail from Navoo to Salt Lake will be exhibited at the county courthouse. Frank Croxford and family expect to leave Vernal soon. They have lived in Vernal for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hobson of Rainbow Rain-bow have been spending the week visiting vis-iting local relatives. Mrs. Manuel Swain and family have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. 'Hyrum Swain this week. Their home is in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kelly and small child are recent arrivals from Denver for a several weeks' visit with Mr. Kelly 's brother, Benjamin Kelly. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Banks of Watson spent Monday, Tuesday and AVednes-day AVednes-day in Vernal. Mrs. E. S. Wright and children arrived ar-rived Friday from their former home in Lynndyl," Utah, and will make their home with Mr. Wright. Mrs. Mollie Julious arrived from Grand Junction Saturday. She will visit with relatives for the next six weeks. The marriage of Miss Clara M. Bingham Bing-ham of Roosevelt and Lyle H. Young of Antelope took place Wednesday afternoon. |
