OCR Text	Show STAHL'S SENTENCE. Gustavo Stahl. who swore he saw four guns on the I.usitania just before she sailed from New York on her ill fated voyage, has been sentenced to a term of eighteen months for perjury, his guilt being acknowledged. Stahl is a German reservist and no doubt considers him self a martyr to the cause of the fath erland. I'onsidering the importance of the issue between the United States and Germany the sentence passed upon this particular perjurer was very light. hu it should serve as n warning to others who in the excess of their zeal violate the laws of this country in the interest of foreign nations. Stahl was but the tool of men higher up in the social and political scale nnd it is a great pity the principals in the case are not also ticketed tick-eted for Atlanta.
