Salt Lake, v ice president, and W, E. Evans, secretary, will file its articles of Incorporation In-corporation with the secretary of state early next week. The company owns the Clipper and Sliver King group of claims on Silver Glance hill in Amerh-an Fork canyon and has taken a bond and lease on eight claims constituting the Steele grojp. an adjoining property. Two shifts of four men have already been put to work on a tunnel which Is Intended to tap s big. heavily mineral-ixe: mineral-ixe: fissure tn which numerous shallow workings show good values in lead, silver sil-ver and copper. The fissure Is supposed to be cut when the tunnel Is In about 1200 feet. In the meantime the tunnel will cut two dtontte dykes and one of porphyry I near which surface showing would Indl--ate bodies of ore will be cv-ountered. Two different bodies of ore-bearing lime, extensions of that on the Miller hill, will be cut with the tunnel. Parties who came down from the prop-e prop-e rt v eg t e rda y had samples of the itme taken from the face of the tunnel which ;s barely under cover. The rook Is liberally lib-erally spattered with lead, indicating that a body of ore may not be far away. This is a great surprise to Mr. Earl, who is manager of the company and who did not expect to get any ore till nearlng the first diorite dyke, about 200 feet dls- I tant. He went up the anyn today to ' investigate conditions. |
