The genernl Impression here Is that Ward is a better ball player than Murphy. Mur-phy. sU any rate, and no tears will be shed by Portland fans, who had a chanc to see Murphy In action this spring, before be-fore he was turned over to the Indians, and Judged that he was a rather erratic fielder and not an especially heavy hitter.
