Show MICHIGAN-UTAH CON, " SHIPS BIG TONNAGE Thirty Cars Sent Out in August; Will Double Output This Month. Thirty ears of ore were shipped during the month of August from: the Mlchlgan-t'tah Mlchlgan-t'tah Consolidated "Mining; company's propertv located in the Little Cottonwood Cotton-wood district. The district is showing greater activltv In real mining development develop-ment than it has shown In years and more ore is "being sent out at present than at any time in the past few years, according ac-cording to Judge Xornian W. Halra, president of the Mtchlgan-Utah Consolidated, Consoli-dated, who has returned from a trip of inspeotion to that property. It is exnected bv the management that the output from the Michigan-Utah will be- practically doubted curing September. A much larger tonnage would have "been shipped during August but for the lack of transportation facilities. This difficulty diffi-culty has been overcome. Two sets of lessees are at present operating op-erating on the property. Winwood and Olsen are sending out a fair tonnage from the Grizzly workings above the Grizzly tunnel. This lease will expire on October Octo-ber 1, after which date the work will be resumed by the company. The Triangle Mining company, also leasing on the property, prop-erty, has a force of about forty men employed em-ployed at present and expects to increase this force in the near future. They are operating on the City Rocks vein above the Cleaves tunnel and from that portion of the mine have been shipping ship-ping an average tonnage of one car per day.
