Th schools of the South Sanpete district will open for work on Monday. September 13. All bultfllngs have been thoroughly renovated. reno-vated. According to Superintendent E. T. Held, all schools will be operated on the consolidation plan. An Institute will be held at Mantl on Thursday and Friday. September 9 and 10. when work will he planned for the first month of school. Joseph Christ ensen. lerk of the district, dis-trict, reports the following number of school children as a result of the census which was recently taken: Boys. tWf girls, 1249; total, TJ61S. This showing gives an increase of thirty-seven over last year, twenty-four of this number being in Gunnison valley. Mantl increased ten and Ephralm four. Superintendent E. T.
