Show GENERAL VILLA TO GIVE BATTLE TO CARRANZISTAS EL PASO, Tex., Sept. 7. General Felipe Fe-lipe Angeles, newly appointed military commander of the Villa forces of tbe state of Sonora. arrived at Juarez, across the border from here, late today, accompanied accompa-nied by Enrique C. TJorente, diplomatic representative of the Villa government at Washington. It is expected that General Gen-eral Angeles will proceed to his new post via Casas Grandes. Fifty officers and 100 men have been awaiting his arrival for several days. Llorente expects to return re-turn to Washington. Mr. Llorente gave out an official statement state-ment of the Villa government's recent activities, which saye in part: General Villa has been reorganizing reorganiz-ing his army and Is now massing it , for the purpose of meeting the Carranza Car-ranza army under ObreKon. The point where General Villa Is fortifying for the battle cannot be disclosed at the present time, but his preparations are Ijhorough and complete and he is confident of victory1 vic-tory1 when the battle takeB place. Later on Sunday, General Gen-eral Villa conferred with the commander com-mander of the garrison at Paredon and he reported all to hp quiet there. Reports received In Torreon on Sunday Sun-day from the commander of the Fal-tillo Fal-tillo garrison were that a battl had been in progress Saturday south of Faltlllo between conventionalist forces and Carranza forces and, although the engagement had not been con-1 con-1 eluded, the conventionalist forces were meeting with Huccess.
