Mi Annual Play by Dramatic Club Is a Pretentious Production THE Salt Lake high school dramatic dra-matic club will give its. annual play, "The Freshman," next Friday evening in the Oarrick theater. The dramatic club this year is probably the best yet at the local institution, and it has ojeen working on their production, "The Freshman," for somo time. Tho last rehearsal will bo held Fridav afternoon in tho Oarrick theater. There are thirteen members of the school in the ca3t. Miss Stella Devino is the leading lady. Her part ia tho plav will bo to impersonate Miss Mary Locko. Miss De-vino De-vino is ono of the best amateur, perforators per-forators in Salt Lako, and hor scloction as leading lady is a most popular one. Lawrence Jlydo is tho leading man. He will take tho part of John Wordeu, the r i ii i. . ii i ii i 1 1 . Manager Kenneth Vates announced last night that nearly the entire hou?c had been sold, except a few seats in the bnlcony. T.hc demand for seats this year has been tho greatest in the Ii ia-tor' ia-tor' of the high school. Wesley Derr is assisting Manager Vet'tes. Tho ofli-cors ofli-cors of the dramatic club are Lafo llix-son, llix-son, president; Margaret Ewing. ice president; Ruth I'cttigrcw, secretary; Kenneth Ycatcs and Wesley Derr, managers; man-agers; George O'Connor and Blanche Murphy, directors. Miss Nellie Brown, instructor .in .elocution, has been coaching coach-ing the club.
