Show JAMES W. URE WILL BE BURIED TODAY Funeral services for James W. "Ore, 65 years of age, one of Salt Lake's oldest and best known citizens, who came to Utah in 1849, a babo of 3 years, will be hold in the assembly hall on tho Temple block at 13:15 o'clock today. 'When First tho Glorious Light of Truth," will bo rendered as the opening open-ing song, by tho Fifteenth ward choir. The opening prayer will bo offered by David L. Davis. Tho first speaker will bo Josoph Armstrong, of Codar City, followed by David O. McKay. Polra nuartotto will rondor a numbor, after which will bo remarks by Josoph Bennett, President Josoph F. Smith and Apostlo A. M. Lyman. A solo by Miss Rose Sraitheu will precede short speeches by Albert W. Davis and Josoph E. Taylor. Horace 8, Ensign will sing a solo and the closing speech of tho sorviccs will bo dolivored by George It. Emery. "Not Dead but Sleepoth," will bo rendered as tho closing .song by the Poll quartette. The benediction will bo pronouncod by Thomas Morris. Interment Inter-ment will bo in the City cemetery, and tho grave will be dedicated by E. T. Ashton. |
