Show HOLD FUNERAL OF PATRIARCHMIDGLEY The funeral of Patriarch Josiah Midgloy from the Twelfth-Thirteenth ward meeting meet-ing house yesterday afternoon was attended at-tended by relatives and friends In sufficient suf-ficient number to HH the building to Its capacity. The flowers that, were sent were In unusual number and covered the casket and altar of tho meeting house. The speakers, all of whom dwelt on the kindly nature and integrity that had marked all of Mldglcy's life, were Bishop V. B. Piatt, Apostlo Ilcbcr J. Grant. Dr. James B. Talmage, Charles W. Hardy. John V. Bennett, Bishop Georgo Uornney and T. A. "Williams. Prayer was offered by Joseph K Taylor and the benediction was pronounced by Levi Rlchardc. Music waa supplied bv a quartette quar-tette consisting of Mrs. John K. Hardy, Miss Elma Young, S. M. Taylor and Hebor K. Aldous. Miss Ethel Connollcv acting as accompanist. Six of Mr. Mldglcy's grandsons, Ernest J. Evans. Ralph Evans. Fred MIdgley, George MIdgley, Leroy MIdgley and Arthur Ar-thur MIdgley. acted as pallbearers. The burial was in the MIdgley family plot at tho City cemetery. |
