Show FORMER BANKER IS ARRESTEDJN OHIO E. E. Galbreath of Cincinnati Charged With Misappropriation Misappropri-ation of Funds. CINCINNATI, O.. May 2 E. E. Galbreath, Gal-breath, former president of the Second National bank of this city, was arrested here today by a United States marshal on a charge of misapplying the funds of the hank. The bank was recently discovered dis-covered to be In an embarrassed condition condi-tion and la now being opened by tho members of the Cincinnati Clearing House, association. After the bank was taken over by the clearing house, new officers were placed in control. The warrant for CJalbreath's arrest charged him with having misappropriated funds of the bank to the amount of $38,000. Before becoming president of the Second National hank Galbreath was a federal bank examiner. The transaction upon which the war-Irant war-Irant was issued occurred April 8. It Is alleged that on that date Galbreath placed in the Second National bank a draft for 188,000 drawn on the Third National Na-tional bank of St Louis of which his brother, Q. XV. Galbreath Is vice president. presi-dent. It Is charged that he then drew out of the Second National funds uggregating this Amount, although he had no account with the St. Louis Bank, Following his a.Tre.st Galbroath was taken before L'nited State?
