Show REPORTS ATTACK BY "MEDICINE PEDDLER John A. Jensen, a teamster for tho Salt Lake Brewing company, found his wife unconscious and bleeding from a bad scalp wound In the back of her head, as he entered the dining room of his home, 30 Twelfth JDast street, upon returning from work, after G o'clock last night. Mrs. Jensen had fallen forward upon a bundle of laundry on -tho floor. When revived, she told of an encounter with an agent for a patent medicine who had called her to the kitchen door. She said she had refused to entertain him and that he had struck her as she turned away. The case was reported to the police by Mr. Jensen, and Detectives George E. Cleveland and B. II. Seagor were detailed de-tailed to investigate. IUrs. Jensen could give only a monger description of the agent, saying that lie was small and wore a. gray coat. Mrs. Jensen was attended at-tended by her family physician. |
