The Lynn police arc tonight hunting a woman whom they believe will throw light on the slaying of Goorgo E. MaTBh, president presi-dent of the Good Will Soap company of Lynn and one of the city's mo6t prominent promi-nent aud wealthy business men. who was found- murdered in tho marshes between Point of Pines and Lynn today. to-day. After several hours' investigation they learned that, the murdered man left his home about 5 o'clock yesterday yester-day afternoon, saying lie was going for an automobile ride with an acquaintance. acquain-tance. The name of the person with whom ho took the ride is known to the police, but they refuse to divulge di-vulge it. This companion of the murdered man was a woman, according to the police, who say she was seen in tho automobile automo-bile with Mr. Marsh. They refuse to divulge her namo, but admit they are looking for her. It is understood she lives in the eastern part of Lynn. The polico intimate they are working on the theory that some person who saw the woman with Marsh may have been actuated by jealousy. Victim Aged 73. Marsh was 73 years old. About two years ago, the Good Will Soap company was absorbed by Swift & Co. of Chicago, Chi-cago, but Marsh remained its nominal head at a high salary. Ho was reputed re-puted to be worth half ti million. At his home, 12 Ircson avenue, whero he lived with his maiden sister, Hannah, Han-nah, no suggestion of a motive could be offered.
