Show BAPTISTS READY FOR ' I1EESSI0N Extensive Programme of Church Matters Arranged for Annual Convention. The Baptists of Utah are In readiness for tho thirtieth' annual session of the Utah Baptist state convention, which will bo held In. the Rio Grande Baptist church for three days beginning tomorrow. An extensive programing, which will not only cover tho discussion of all 1uslness matters mat-ters of the church, but also will Includo various addresses by notable Baptists of the country, has been arranged. Tho session ses-sion will open Avlth a devotional service led by the Rev. J. V. Cody, tomorrow afternoon aft-ernoon at 2 o'clock, and will close with an address at 8:30 o'clock Thursday night bv either the Rev. R. W. Hunt or Dr. II. V. Smith of Philadelphia. It has not been definitely decided which one of the speakers will be able to appear. Probably the most Important numbers on the programme will be the. annual sermon ser-mon bv the Rev. H. D. Zimmerman; Women's socloties, by Mrs. C. J. McNltt; missionary work In Iho Philippines, by the Rev. Charles D. Maxfleld. and the report re-port on the young people's work and the Sunday school standard. Tho entertaining church will "provide breakfast and lodging for tho delegates and It Is desired thai all delegates send their names to B. F.
