Krom all reports the potato crop this year will , exceed that of last year by several thousand thou-sand carloads. The prices have been the best this season. Three cars were shipped from Twin Falls recently at 31 and $1.10 per hundred. Last year the prlco was 50c and 75c. II. E. Barrett, president of the potato division of the North Pacific fruit distributors, distrib-utors, arrived in Pocatello last, night and his headquarters for this section will be located on East Center street of this city. He is optimistic regarding the potato outlook. out-look. He estimates that Ohe crop from Tdaho this year will be over fiOOO cars. Wires from agent in Denver show that the demand Is quite strong already. The car condition Is satisfactory at. present and a frost will Increaso the supplv of mature potatoes which are so much In demand.
