Jl Barnes, the mining min-ing committee of the Commercial club and others interested will meet In the Commercial club tonlirhl to discuss with Senator Reed Smoot the mining bill proposed pro-posed by him and relating to the further fur-ther assurance to the state of title to certain school lands. The mining committee has objected to the hill and Senatbr Smoot will present his side of the argument. Both factions In the matter are n greed that the questions ques-tions Involved ought to be settled one way or another, and It Is believed (hat some agreement will he reached with Senator Smoot at tonight's meeting.
