Murphy, Mur-phy, 21 years old. who desires that he be known as "Dare Devil Murphy," jumped from Brooklyn bridge this afternoon after-noon while tho bridge was crowded with thousands walking over from Brooklyn to view the body of Mayor Gaynor. Murphy Is In Jail tonight charged with attempting suicide. Ho recently asked a moving picture company for a job n.i high diver and all-around dare devil, and he says ho Jumped from the bridge lo show the company it was making a mistake mis-take in turning- down his application.
