Show COURT OF APPEALS TO HEAR GAS CASE Kansas Company Seeks to Overturn the Decision of Judge Marshall. DENVER. Sept. 21. Cases Involving the natural gas supply of Kansas City, Mo., for fuel and light, and the legality of ownership of oil and gas lands In Wyoming, are set for hearing before the United Slates court of appeals for the Eighth district at the September term, which opens here tomorrow. United States Circuit Judges "William C. Hook of Leavenworth, Kan., J. E. Carland of Washington and United Stales District Judge A. S. Vanvalkenburg of Kansas City will occupy the bench. The Kansas City natural gas case Is set for hearing- and decision Monday, September 2D. It comes before the court on appeal from the decision of the United States District Judge Marshall al Salt' Lake City, that the receivers of the Kansas Natural Gas company could not be compelled to extend the pipe lines to gel more gas. Previously the receivers had been ordered by the district court of Montgomery county, Kansas, to extend the mains to new gas wells.
