Show WILD WEST SHOW j TO EXHIBIT TODAY Big Oklahoma Aggregation Reached the City at Early Hour This Morning. Two long trains of double-length circus cars, which are necessary to move from city to city the huge tents and seats, lights and wagons, and tho half a thousand thou-sand men and horses who form the Oklahoma Okla-homa Ranch Wild West show, reached Salt Lake City in tho middle of the night, and promptly at daybreak the movement to tho show grounds was begun. Early as it was, there was a. large crowd of sightseers on hand, and they were loud in their praises of the beautiful beauti-ful horses and the wonderful bead and feather work of the scores of Indians who sleep on the flat cars under the stars Instead of In the sleepers as do the white men. The parade this morning will be a splendid splen-did sight. More than 500 cowboys and cowgirls, Indians and Mexican vasqueros, broncho "busters" and sharpshooters will be In the long line, and in between thorn will be six brass bands, each with a score of musicians, tom-tom players and at the end of the parade the usual steam calliope. Colonel Zack Mulhall, the "Father of Oklahoma,' will head the parade, and behind him will come the most famous of the performers, such as his daughter, Lucille, the world's champion steer roper, Lulu Parr, the champion girl broncho "buster," Otto Kline, tho champion at trick and fancy riding, and Homer Wilson, Wil-son, chief of the cowboys, and the only man who ever roped clgnt horsea at one catch. Performances will be given at 2 and 8 p. m , rain or shine, and the tents are guaranteed to be absolutely water proof. The parade route Is as follow?: Leave the show grounds on Broadway between State and Second East street at 11 o'clock, and march west on' Fourth South to State, thence 'North on State to Eagle Gate, thence weBt to the monument, thence south on Main street to Fourth South and back to the show grounds. |
