Funeral services were held yestordny at 2 o'clock In the City pavilion for Miss Mary Bowcn, aged 17 years old. daughter of Mrs. David Bowcn, a widow. Miss Bowen died of peritonitis, following an operation for appondicltis Music was furnished by the Third ward choir, under tho direction direc-tion of Prof. Owen Rowe. The invocation invoca-tion was given by Patriarch William Jox and the speakers were Bishop Gcorgo Males (presiding), former Bishop Marlnus Larson, Mrs. John Ha I In m and W. A. JoneB. Miss Bowen was born in Eureka, Utah, Decombcr 10, 1S9C. Sho was popular among the younger set, nnd was a ntrong worker In the Young Women's Mutual Improvement association. Her grandfather, grand-father, Morgan Bowen. nnd undo. Arthur Rowcn. came from Idnho Falls, Ida., to attend the funeral. |
