Exclusive of those players obtained by major league clubs from minor league tcam3 through optional agreements, 202 players have cither been traded or purchased by major league teams from each other or from minor league teams during the last year, according to a list handed down by the national baseball commission today A large majority of these represent purchases pur-chases from the minor leagues, some of theso players not yet having reported to thoir teams. The American league carried off the honors, 101 players coming to thorn during dur-ing the lust year, while an even hundred either entered the ranks of the National league or will when the deals or trades will have been consummated. The commission also instructed the Nashville club of the Southern league to pay the Pittsburg club $1500 within three days for playor Arthur Hofman.
