Show PIONEER WOMAN DIES. Mrs. AgneB Miller Moore Closes Career at Age of Eighty-Six Years. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Aug. 29. Mrs. Agnes Miller Moore, ono of the pioneor women of Utah, who walked a groater part of the distance across the plains, died at her home, 126 Twenty-eighth street, at S o'clock this morning. She was SC years old. Death resulted after a lingering illness, ill-ness, due to general debility and the Infirmities In-firmities of age. Born at Kuthiglon, near Glasgow, Scotland, in 1827, Mrs. Moore camo to this country' In 1S08. It was during tho following fol-lowing year that sho made tho trip across the plains to Utah. After her marriage to Goff Moore In Salt Lake she removed to Uinta, where Mr. Moore conducted a general mercantile business for many years. Following his death in 1877. the widow successfully conducted the business busi-ness until a fow years ago. Bishop Robert McQuarrlc will conduct tho funeral services In the Second ward chapel at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. Interment In-terment in Ogden City cemetery. |
