Foster, secretary of tho New York baseball base-ball club. The servers bore a subpoena directing "Foster to appear beforo the grand Jury Thursday morning nnd bring with him certain books and records of tho New York club. Foster had left town with tho Giants for Philadelphia, however, and wns not handed the subpoena. sub-poena. Tho county prosecutor's attention wns called to a statement attributed to Foster Fos-ter that "members of the staffs of the corporation counsel and the district attorney at-torney cold to speculators reserved seats that they had bought for J.1 each."
