INSTRUCTIONS TO THE TREASURY OFFICIALS WASHINGTON. April 10. Secretary McAdoo of the treasury department late today revoked his previous order, by which subordinates were .forbidden to give out news except through tho secretary's secre-tary's office. The secretary Issued the following instructions to his assistants: "The secretary's memorandum with reference to giving out news was not Intended In-tended to prevent tho publication of routine matters of legitimate Interest to the public. Heads of bureaus and chiefs of division may give to representatives of the prcBS any ordinary news, but matter mat-ter Involving views of policy or reforms In tho department should be submitted to the secretary for approval."
