Show . JURY SAYS "GUILTY." Moroni Brown and Son Are Convicted of Disorderly Conduct. Special to The Tribune, OGDEN, July.3. After three hours' deliberation, de-liberation, a Jury tonight returned a vor-dlct vor-dlct of guilty in the case of Moroni Brown and his son. Ora D. Brown, who were charged with disorderly conduct, following fol-lowing the arresL of Mrs. J. J. McGregor Friday night. The Jury retired at 9 o'clock this evening and a few minutes before midnight Judge "W. H. Boeder received the verdict, which included a recommendation that mercy be shown In passing sentence. Sentenco has not yet been passed. Trouble arose between the McGregor and tho Brown families and Friday nignt the elder Brown assisted by his son were alleged to have seized Mrs. McGregor and forced her to go with them to police headquarters, handling her roughly on tlie way. Brown was formerly a special oi-flcer oi-flcer of the police deportment. |
