In reply, the company sent a reply to the local managers In which It sold: "Wo have already carried conciliation so far that oilr discipline has suffered to an extent no longer endurable. In the last wee.k we have received more than 400 complaints from passengers relating to disregard of rules by men on Mi' cars. If discipline were applied In these cases alone thorn would be -100 more grievances, and If the committee's present request was granted 100 more eases to arbitrate." The company, however, promises to glvo the coninilllcc's request careful consideration. |
