CARRIES AWAY HEAD OF WOMAN HE SLAYS CHICAGO. Jan. 20. The decapitated and mutilated body of a woman. Identified Identi-fied as that of Anna Furlong, was found In a room in a report at 50 West Seventeenth Seven-teenth street today. The head was missing, miss-ing, and the police believe it was carried car-ried away by the murderer In an attempt to conceal the woman's Identity. The woman evidently made a terrific struggle for life, as the room was found in great disorder. The body was clad In a nightgown, which was cut and torn in several places. Tho police think tho woman had been dead for several hours. Other inanites said the Furlong girl hod lived In the resort several weeks the was said to he about 24 years old.
