Howell In Issuing nn order approving certain claims against the now disincorporated clty.of Huntsvllle. Is tho statement made in a petition tiled with the district cotirt this afternoon by A. J. Anderson and A. P. Benstrom, citizens of the village. Particular reference Is made to a claim for 53000. mado by the Utah National Bank of Ogdeh and approved by the I court. The petitioners suy that thoy. with other citizens of Huntsvllle. were preparing a protest against this claim, when Judge. Howell issued an order declaring de-claring the debt a valid one. without notice no-tice to counsel for those asking the disincorporate dis-incorporate of the city and without receiving re-ceiving any evidence to support the validity va-lidity of the claim. The petitioners ask the courl to rescind re-scind its former order and to disallow the claim of the bank. Judge Howell set November 5 as the date of the- hearing on the petition, which will be presented by Attorney .V. J. Harris In the form of a motion ut that time. |
