With hints of more arrests of prominent men Imminent, Immi-nent, there Is much speculation how widespread this latest financial and political po-litical exposure will become. Mr. Nicola was in New York City when he received word that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. lie started at once for his home, arriving here today. Later he appeared in court and gave bail. "I know nothing whatever about the case," he said. Tho charges in tho present case grew out of alleged attempts to secure by bribes the designation of the Columbia National bank mid another bank as city depositories. Jennings and Griffin were attending to the financial end. while Max G. Leslie managed tho political end In tho Columbia case. Nicola and Councilman Charles Stewart are alleged to have been involved In another case. There aro numerous counts In the Indictments In-dictments against Leslie, who is delinquent, de-linquent, tax collector and known as the right-hand man of Senator Flynn.
