The English Eng-lish market was steady, after a weak oponfng, with spot quoted at 55 Ss Od and futures at 5G 2s 6d. Arrivals were reported at New York of 260 tons; custom cus-tom house returns showed exports of 360 tons, making 3S43 tons so far this month. Local dealers quote lake copper at 512.75 tfjUS.00; electrolytic at $12.G212.75, and casting at $12,37412.50. Tin was quiet, with spot and June quoted at $32.65(3)32.80; July and August, 532.650)32.75. and September at $32.65 32.S0. The London market was firm, with spot at 118 10s and futures at J21J0 15s. Lead was easy, with spot quoted at $4. 40(3)4.50 New York, nnd at $4.20(g4.25 East St. Louis, Sales wero reported of 50,000 spot liast St. Louis delivery, at $4.20.
