Nothing finer In the way of a dramatic sketch in vaudeville has ever been seen In this city than the act presented by John Griffith and company at the Mission Mis-sion this week. The act Is a tragedy, being be-ing the famous dream scene from "The Bells." the play made famous by tho late Sir Henry Irving. The work of Mr. Griffith Grif-fith In this little act stamps him as one of tbe best vaudeville actors that has ever been seen In this city. Friday afternoon after-noon Mr. Griffith was the guest of Judge C. S. Zane at a little dinner. There will be two more opportunities to see Willard Mack and Maude Leone and players in "Cameo Klrby" this afternoon after-noon and evening. Sunday evening there will bo a change In programme, when Mr, Mack's play, "In God's Country," will be presented. At tho matinee performances today, there will be an entire change of bill at all of Manager Florence's theaters the Shubert. Luna. Isis and Elite theaters and something exceptionally good Is promised at each place. The Shubert has gained quite, a reputation for Itself during dur-ing the past few weeks in tho vaudeville line. This week's bill at the Casino Is the best yet presented ai this popular house. There are two vaudevlllo features that are the equal of anything yet presented, and the pictures arc great. This house is cool and pleasant. Capacity audiences are present at every performance. Tn the. "Jolly Widow." as presented by the Allen Curtis Musical Comedy company, com-pany, the Daniels theater will have one of the best shows seen hero this season. sea-son.
