Show SIGNAL CORPS GETTING READY FOR INSPECTION The signal corps of the National' Guard, under Captain Bourne, is about to begin upon its preliminary signal work and drills for the coming Inspection. The matter now given the most stress is the enlistment of fifteen reoruity. which will make the ioll reach fifty-eight, the required re-quired full strength for inspection. A number of applications have been made for enlistment, but only a few have been considered, for to become a member of the corps the recruit must pass high In the .opinion of both the officers and the enlisted men. The reception given by the First bal-lery bal-lery has proven highly failsfact'ory to Captain Webb, as he has enlisted a number num-ber of recruits who were enthusiastic over tho display of the battcrv equipment. |
