Tho Faywood National Mining company owns and is organized for the purpose of developing jl group of eleven full claims in tho National district. The property adjoins the Charleston Hill Mining company's com-pany's holdings on tho southeast, tho latter lat-ter adjoining the bonanza properly of the National Mining company of Nevada, also on the southeast. Favorable Location. The location of the Fay wood National property is very favorable, being in- the same mineral belt ns nnd only two claim lengths distant from tho big bonanza on Charleston hill. Only a limited amount of work has been done on the Pay wood property, but this has been sufficient to demonstrate that it is traversed by 'i svsteni of dykes and veins from which encouraging gold values have been obtained ob-tained at tho surface. The Fay wood group was located by John Yates, an old time and experienced prospector, after studying the formations and conditions of the camp, and his opinion, opin-ion, supported by the llndlng of gold values on the surface of the claims, is that the group lies in the main mineral belt of tho camp and is traversed by the same vein which has been productive of such sensational high grade ore, in the Charleston hill bonanza, and that only development de-velopment work is needed to prove this to bo the case. |
